KUCHING, March 26 (Bernama) -- Bosnia-Herzegovina signing Muamer Salibasic, who is nursing a knee injury, is not about to give up his position in the Sarawak squad.
The 30-year-old left winger said he was eager to return to action and was confident of making full recovery within a week or two as he was getting better and already back in training.
"However, my doctor advised me not to overstretch myself for fear that the injury would not heal. I'm also undergoing therapy once a week," he told Bernama as he watched the Bujang Senang team went down 0-2 to Selangor in the Super League at the State Stadium here Tuesday night.
Muamer, who joined Sarawak in mid-season last year, was instrumental in helping Sarawak reached semi-finals in the Malaysia Cup last season.
"I'm confident that I'll be fully fit before the transfer window is close on April 23 and I'm targeting to get back into action in two weeks' time. Although my knee is still swollen, it's not fractured," he added.....
