PETALING JAYA, March 21 (Bernama) -- The FA of Malaysia (FAM) has fined Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) a total of RM19,458.14 for misbehaviour of fans during their Super League match against Perak at the Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Stadium, Larkin on Jan 18.
FAM disciplinary committee deputy chairman Ednan Othman told reporters at Wisma FAM here today that the fines were handed down after JDT admitted guilt to three charges, which were fans damaging the car of Perak team manager Datuk Azhar Ahmad; lighting flares after the match ended and failure to provide adequate security.
He also said the committee will be calling up JDT's Argentinian import players Pablo Aimar and Luciano Figueroa next week over accusations that they had hurled racially abusive words against Pahang defender Damion Stewart, who is from Jamaica, during JDT's match against Pahang at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan on Feb 7.
"However, we have yet to set a date for an inquiry," he said.
On the tunnel commotion between players and officials of JDT and T-Team on Feb 1, he said the committee had scheduled a hearing on it next week.....
