The visitors opened scoring in the 21st minute through Le Van Thang, but despite playing with 10 men after Ahmad Shakir was flashed the red card, Kelantan managed to equalise in the 38th minute through a free kick from Muhamad Nazri Ahmad.
Much to the delight of the partisan fans, Kelantan went ahead in the dying minutes of the first half when Mohd Khairul Izuan Rosli scored from a pass by Wan Zaharul Nizam Zakaria.
Just after the breather, Kelantan lost another player, Mohd Khairul, who was also shown the red card, thus throwing home team into disarray.....
