KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 (Bernama) -- Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One (F1) team duo Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton will be spending more time in Kuala Lumpur during the gap between the Australian and the Malaysian Formula One Grand Prix.
Petronas Head of Motorsport Anita Azrina Abdul Aziz said fans could first expect to catch Rosberg and Hamilton in action during the annual Petronas Motorsport Demo Run held at the vicinity of the Suria KLCC on Sunday, March 23.
She said local motorsport fans will also be treated to performances by the riders of the Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship and the Petronas Asia Road Racing Championship.
Other big names expected to put up a show include Petronas' homegrown Asia Cup Series driver Afiq Ikhwan, Petronas Talent Development rider, Ramdan Rosli, and a showcase by drivers from the Mercedes DTM team, which will be making its debut appearance in Malaysia and stunt performances by American stunt riders Aaron Twite and Nick Broha, she added.
"The event which will be held from 1.30pm to 5.30pm will feature both F1 drivers tearing down Jalan Ampang in their F1 W05 machines," she said in a statement here today.....
