KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 (Bernama) -- The High Court today scheduled April 23 for the hearing of a suit by former Kuala Lumpur footballer Hafizi Roslee against the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) over a life ban for match fixing.
Judicial Commissioner Rosilah Yop set the date in chambers in the presence of Hafizi's lawyer Kevin De Rozario.
Kevin told the media that the court also set March 31 for the filing of affidavits by both the parties.
On Feb 26, Hafizi, 29, filed an originating summons against FAM and the Football Association of Kuala Lumpur, seeking to quash the decision to ban him for life from any football activities.
Hafizi is further seeking to declare the 2012 edition of the FAM disciplinary code as unconstitutional, arbitrary and contrary to justice and public policy.....
