SHAH ALAM, March 16 (Bernama) -- The Shah Alam Stadium which was closed for upgrading works since November last year, would be reopened on March 22.
Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid said upgrading works included all parts of the stadium, including the roof, dressing room, public toilets and the field.
"We have also replaced the parspalum grass on the field, upgraded the public toilets and installed CCTV throughout the stadium to beef up the security," he said after visiting the stadium here Sunday, together with Shah Alam mayor Datuk Mohd Jaafar Mohd Atan.
He said the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) had allocated RM70 million for the renovation that would be completed in two phases.
Abdul Khalid said the Selangor and Kelantan will play a Super League match on March 22 when the stadium reopens.....
