S'gor PKNS FC Leapfrog To Second Spot In Super League

KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 (Bernama) -- Klang Valley club Selangor PKNS FC chalked up an easy 3-1 win over T-Team at the Selayang Stadium in the sole Super League match played tonight.

The win enabled the squad under coach Wan Jamak Wan Hassan to leapfrog six rungs to second place in the league behind Kelantan with 11 points after seven games.

The goals for PKNS FC were scored by Shahrul Azhar Ture in the 7th minute, team captain Helmi Remeli (45+1') and Khairu Azrin Khazali (60') while the Titans' solitary goal was netted by Mohd Mazuki Yusof in the 29th minute.

Meanwhile, Police strengthened their hold in the Premier League after blasting Penang Water Supply Corporation FC (PBAPP FC) 4-0 at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium.

With the victory, The Cops extended their unbeaten record to six games and are now with 18 points.....
