KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 (Bernama) -- Ultras Malaya, a die-hard fan club of the national team, have refused any discussions with the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) on the alleged disturbance at the friendly match between Malaysia and the Philippines at the Selayang Stadium last Saturday.
A spokesman for Ultras Malaya, who declined to be named said Ultras Malaya would not meet the FAM for now because it was too late for discussions since their earlier attempts to discuss had not been entertained.
"We tried using the right channel in the past to express our dissatisfaction towards the FAM but it was ignored, so now we will wait and see," he told Bernama here, Wednesday.
Furthermore, he said the action carried out by Ultras Malaya was to deliver a message to the FAM and hoped the FAM changed for the future of Malaysian football.
The disturbance was actually a protest by Ultras Malaya members who burned flares and firecrackers, resulting in the match being stopped for eight minutes, after 31 minutes into the match.....
