PONTIAN, March 4 (Bernama) -- Terengganu Cycling Team (TSG) rider Anuar Manan missed out on a chance to finish on the podium after finishing in 10th spot when Stage 6 of the Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) ended here Tuesday.
The 27-year-old rider however, can take consolation of being the best Malaysian rider in the field.
Anuar said he was focusing on prominent sprinters Theo Bos (Belkin-Pro Cycling Team) and Andrea Guardini (Astana Pro Team) and did not notice an Androni Giocatolli-Venezuela rider breaking away to win the stage.
Kenny Van Hummel from Holland won the stage in a 'bunch sprint', edging Orica Greendedge rider Aidis Kruopis from Lithuania and American Ken Hanson from UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling.
However, all three riders were credited with the same times.....
