PONTIAN, March 4 (Bernama) -- The 2014 Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) has witnessed different stage winners everyday and today was no different when Holland's Kenny Van Hummel of Androni Giocatolli-Venezuela clinched the Sixth stage here, Tuesday.
The 31-year-old sprinter took the first victory for his team this year after denying other favourite sprinters like his compatriot Theo Bos of Belkin-Pro Cycling Team and Italy's Andrea Guardini of Astana Pro Cycling.
He finished the 199.1km stage in 4 hours, 29 minutes and 46 seconds to edge Aidis Kruopis of Lithuania from team Orica Greenedge while American Ken Hanson of UnitedHealthcare finished third.
However, all were credited with the same time as Van Hummel.
