JOHOR BAHARU, Feb 25 (Bernama) -- Newly-appointed Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) manager Bojan Hodak does not foresee any problem in establishing a good working relationship with the team's head coach, Cesar Ferrando Jiminez.
Croatia-born Hodak who was formerly with Kelantan said, his presence in JDT was to help Jiminez in achieving good results and winning trophies for JDT.
"I'm here to help him (Jiminez) in his job. At the end our target is simple, most important is the club and it is important to get good results and try to win trophies. I've talked to him, he is a nice guy and a good coach."
"His problem is his English, he actually understand (English) very well but the problem is his pronunciation with a strong Spanish accent so some of the local boys who don't speak English have a problem understanding (Jiminez's instructions)," he told reporters when met here, Tuesday.
The Johor Football Association today ended speculations surrounding Hodak's future employment when they announced his appointment as the manager while retaining Jiminez as the head coach.
Hodak's presence at matches played at the Pasir Gudang and Larkin Stadiums last week, involving both JDT 1 and JDT 11, sparked speculations that the Croat was heading to Johor to take over from Jiminez or Azmi Mohamad, the JDT 11 coach.....
