KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- Selangor head coach Mehmet Durakovic hopes his boys will walk away with three points against Arema Indonesia in their Group F Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup opening match at the Selayang Stadium, tomorrow.
He said the win against the Indonesian side would be a major boost for the 'Red Giants' after a dismal run lately, including a 1-4 defeat to Johor Darul Ta'zim in the Super League at the Larkin Stadium on Feb 15.
"All the players are fit and ready to play tomorrow's match...We're confident. The condition of the pitch is very good and I expect a better game from both teams," he told a press conference here today.
Durakovic, 48, did not rule out making several changes in the team formation for tomorrow's match as he had asked his players not to underestimate their opponents' capability.
Arema Indonesia coach Harno Suharno meanwhile, was modest in his expectation, claiming he would be satisfied with a point from the match although his team had achieved five consecutive wins in the Indonesian Super League (ISL).....
