KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 22 (Bernama) -- National gymnast Olivia Tai Qing Tong is keeping her fingers crossed of making it to the Junior Olympic Games in Nanjing, China after she emerged among the best four Asian gymnasts at the 13th Asian Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship.
Olivia was placed third overall after the qualifying rounds in four disciplines when the championship concluded at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil here today.
The four disciplines contested were hoop, clubs, ball and ribbon.
Olivia shared the third place with Nilufar Shomuradova of Uzbekistan with the same score of 42.150 points.
Yelizaveta Mainovskaya of Kazakhstan topped the list with 42.800 points while Anora Davlyatova of Uzbekistan came in second place with 42.400 points.....
