Anuar Manan Covets Sprint King Title At 2014 LTdL

KUALA TERENGGANU, Feb 22 (Bernama) -- National cycling sensation Anuar Manan, who has rejoined Terengganu Pro-Asia Cycling Team (TSG), wants the sprint king (Green Jersey) title at the 2014 Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL), which starts on Feb 27.

The national sprint king surely has his own strategy to repeat his lifting of the title at the LTdL, which he did four years ago.

The 28-year-old said be was more motivated to perform with his five fellow cyclists this year to place Terengganu at the top in the championship.

Anuar was confident the powerful combination of Mohamed Harrif Salleh, Mohamed Zamri, Adiq Hussainie Othman, Shahrul Mat Amin and Saufi Mat Senan was capable of realising the dream.

"I am more spirited and committed after being able to return to serve the team in the state of my birth together with racers who are also from Terengganu. I am confident TSG can compete with international racers.....
