KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 (Bernama) -- Improvements have been made at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) including installing a new and stylish rooftop at the main pit ahead of the Petronas Malaysia Formula One Grand Prix 2014.
SIC chief executive officer Datuk Razlan Razali said other facilities at the circuit were being spruced up.
"It's a nice looking roof that will give comfort to the people using the pit area. That's the major improvement that we've done this year for the F1," he told reporters after the official launch of the Malaysian Grand Prix by SIC chairman Datuk Mokhzani Tun Mahathir, here, today.
SIC will host Round 2 of the 19-leg world series this year from March 28 to 30.
The new season opens at Melbourne's Albert Park street circuit in Australia on March 16, before proceeding to Malaysia for the opening race in a proper racing circuit.....
