PETALING JAYA, 16 Feb (Bernama) -- The All Blacks, holders of the Rugby World Cup and the 2013 International Rugby Board (IRB) Team of the Year may choose Kuala Lumpur as a venue to prepare for the Rugby World Cup in England, next year.
Malaysian Rugby Union (MRU) President Datuk Wira Amiruddin Embi said the union had given the green light for a company here, to bring the All Blacks to Kuala Lumpur.
"Two days ago I was informed by the company that was given the green light (host job), that the All Blacks management had agreed to come to Malaysia but the time and date have yet to be decided," he told reporters after chairing a team managers meeting for the 2014 Malaysia Super League Rugby Championship, here, today.
Amiruddin said MRU were still not certain which team would play against the All Blacks in Kuala Lumpur.
In 2012 the All Blacks won Team, Player and Coach of the year and in 2011 the team won Team and Coach of the year after winning the Rugby World Cup .....
