KUCHING, Feb 16 (Bernama) -- Despite successfully beating Perak Saturday night, Sarawak head coach Robert Alberts said his players did not play as planned but were swayed with their opponent's game.
He said based on the last night's action, Sarawak players should focus, control the ball better, carry out more attacks, let Perak do the running and get them tired.
"We started to play like they did. The players got tired and that was not part of the plan," he told reporters after the match, here, Saturday night.
However, Alberts was still proud of the way the team's defensive players worked hard to fend off Perak's attacks.
