NUSAJAYA, Feb 10 (Bernama) -- Players from Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) need not swear on the Al-Quran to prove their innocence over the alleged Larkin Stadium incident early this month, Johor state Youth, Sports, Heritage and Culture committee chairman Datuk Zulkurnain Kamisan said.
Instead the team would leave it to the authorities to carry out a thorough investigation without fear or favour.
"The alleged incident between T-Team and JDT at the Larkin Stadium tunnel during half time need to be investigated and a decision made without bias," he told reporters here today when commenting on Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said's call for T-Team and JDT players to swear on the Al-Quran to prove their innocence over the alleged incident.
Zulkurnain had earlier given out incentives to Johor athletes who represented the country in the Myanmar SEA Games and Myanmar Para Games last year.
During the presentation, 60 Johor athletes and officials received incentives worth RM138,700.....
