PEKAN, Feb 8 (Bernama) -- The provocations between supporters of Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) and Pahang after their Super League match at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan yesterday, continued right up to the Pekan District Police Headquarters (IPD).
The provocations resumed hours after the match when four buses and a multi-purpose vehicle ferrying 180 JDT supporters entered the compound of the IPD.
District police chief Supt Yahaya Othman said the group, which was returning to Johor, arrived at 11.30pm to lodge a report on alleged fights and damage to their vehicles.
"The situation, initially, when the buses of the JDT supporters arrived, was under control. Subsequently, the number of Pahang supporters waiting in front of the IPD increased, forcing the police to step in.
"It became more tense when the supporters of JDT and Pahang resumed their provocations and JDT supporters emerged from the IPD area.....
