LANGKAWI, Feb 7 (Bernama) -- Malaysian sailor Nur Syazrin Mohd Latif is still in the lead in the CII Byte event on the second day of the Olympic Youth Qualifying championship here Friday.
She proved her capability in completing four of the 13 races for the women's category by obtaining four penalty points and is followed closely by Singapore's Samantha Yom Jingi, who collected six penalty points.
In third place is Nichaporn Panmuen of Thailand who collected 10 penalty points.
With the achievement, Nur Syazrin has a bright chance of achieving her target of representing Malaysia in the Youth Olympics.
Meanwhile, two Malaysian sailors in the men's category of the same, Asri Azman and Muhammad Hariz Safwan Ismail, came in second and third respectively today.....
