Kim Swee Starts Scouting For Players To Strengthen National Squad

KOTA BAHARU, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- Interim National team (Harimau Malaya) coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee has embarked on a nationwide mission to find the most qualified players to don the national colours for the final qualifying match in the 2015 Asia Cup Qualifiers against Yemen on March 5.

The 44-year-old Harimau Muda A coach was spotted watching the FA Cup match between Kelantan and Sabah at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, here, Tuesday night.

He said his presence at the stadium was to see and evaluate the current performances of players from both teams before calling them up for training with the national squad.

"Kota Baharu is my first destination after I was officially appointed as coach of the national squad and I want to see the development of all local players," he told reporters, here, Wednesday.

Kim Swee said he would continue his effort to find and select the best players, by touring other states.....
