KUALA TERENGGANU, Feb 5 (Bernama) -- Police will carry out a thorough investigation into the alleged incident at the Larkin Stadium involving Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) and T-Team said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.

"Police will take a professional approach when carrying out the investigation, no matter who or what team was involved in the incident. I can assure that investigations will be carried out in a transparent manner," he told reporters here when commenting on the alleged incident at the Larkin Stadium in Johor during an FA Cup match between T-Team and JDT.

Khalid said police have so far received police reports from both teams.

The IGP said since police had recorded statements from 15 people to assist investigations, no one should speculate the outcome.

"Arguments are common in sports and this is not the first time two teams have been involved in a conflict. I urge the fans and supporters from both teams to remain calm and not jump the gun as police are carrying out investigations.....
