KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 4 (Bernama) -- Sarawak created the biggest upset of the FA Cup competition by beating highly rated Selangor 1-0 at the Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya Stadium in Kelana Jaya, here Tuesday.
With the win, courtesy of a solitary goal by Zamri Morshidi in the 33rd minute, Sarawak accompanied Kelantan, Kedah, Police, Selangor PKNS and Felda United into the quarterfinals.
In KOTA BAHARU, defending champion Kelantan had to wait until the final minute of the game to beat a gritty Sabah side 2-1 at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium with Ahmad Shakir Ali providing the winning goal, well into injury time after 90 minutes of regulation time had ended.
Mohammad Shawky had given Kelantan the lead in the 45th minute but Sabah managed to equalise through Rosdin Wasli in the 51st minute.
In ALOR SETAR, Kedah whipped Perlis 4-0 at the Darul Aman Stadium to book their berth in the next round with goals from Billy Mehmet Osman (43rd), Adam Grifith (53rd), Badrol Bakhtiar (63rd) and Khairul Helmi Johari (90th).....
