KUANTAN, Feb 4 (Bernama) -- Police will beef up security at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan for the Super League match between Pahang and Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) on Friday.
Kuantan deputy police chief Supt Abdul Aziz Ahmad said the number of police personnel at the Darul Makmur Stadium would be increased two fold to tighten security aspects.
"In the previous match about 300 security personnel were stationed at the stadium but the number will be increased to 784 on Friday," he told reporters after attending a meeting on preparations for the match.
He added that additional security features for the match would include the K9 dog unit.
Abdul Aziz hoped fans from both teams would not engage in any provocation activities or bring in banned items into the stadium.....
