KUALA TERENGGANU, Feb 2 (Bernama) -- The Terengganu Football Association (TFA) will leave it to the discretion of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to investigate the alleged incident involving T-Team and Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) at the Larkin Stadium, last night.
TFA President Datuk Wan Ahmad Nizam Wan Abdul Hamid said as the governing body for football in the country, FAM should carry out a thorough investigation to ensure there will be no bias decisions.
"We regret the alleged incident that happened to T-Team whereby a player and fitness coach was allegedly assaulted," he told Bernama here today.
It was reported today that the match between T-Team and JDT at the Larkin Stadium last night was abandoned when players from T-Team refused to come out of the dressing room after half-time for fear of their safety.
T-Team's Brazilian import Evaldo Rodrigues and fitness coach Stefano Impagliazzo were alleged to have been assaulted by officials from JDT while on their way to the dressing room during the half time break.....
