KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 26 (Bernama) -- The 1Malaysia Handball National League where the Youth and Sports Minister's Cup will be up for grabs will see 42 men and women teams competing.
Malaysian Handball Federation (PBBM) president Pandak Ahmad said the objective of the championship was to find new talent to be absorbed into the national squads to compete in the Southeast Asia Handball Championship scheduled to be held in September in Nusajaya, Johor.
The National League which has 21 men and 21 women teams will be from Feb 21 till Feb 23.
The matches will be held in Perlis, Terengganu and Nusajaya, Johor.
Meanwhile, Malaysia will be the host of the Southeast Asia Handball Championship which will see 10 countries participating namely Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Philippined, Brunei, Myanmar and two invited countries, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.....
