Kelantan Maintains Momentum In Super League

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 25 (Bernama) -- The Kelantan team bagged its second win in the Super League by beating Sarawak 1-0 at the State Stadium in Kuching this evening.

Imported striker from Liberia, Francis Forkey Doe scored the 'Red Warriors' single winning goal in the 90th minute to ensure the team coached by Steve Darby got to the top spot.

Last season's champions, Lions XII of Singapore vindicated their loss to Pahang at the Sumbangsih game last Friday by bringing down Selangor 2-1 at the Jalan Besar Stadium, Singapore.

Coach Fandi Ahmad's players Shakir Hamzah and Khairul Amri scored the goals in the 44th and 93rd minute respectively, while Selangor's goal came from Fitri Shazwan Raduwan in the 57th minute.

Perak managed to collect three full points after defeating Terengganu 1-0 at the Perak Stadium, Ipoh courtesy of a header by Brazilian import, Eliel Da Cruz Guardiano in the 90th minute.....
