KUCHING, Jan 21 (Bernama) -- The action of some teams in the Super League to monopolise a large number of the national players will give a negative impact to the national football squad, said Sarawak coach Robert Alberts.

He said national players in such teams, who were often not given the chance to play, would be affected.

The Dutch coach was referring to several leading national players in the Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) squad who only served as reserve players.

He said the players concerned should be frequently in action to maintain their consistency and to be at top form to represent the country.....
