NAYPYITAW, Jan 20 (Bernama) -- After battling for five days in 12 sports, the 7th Asean Para Games came to a close at the Wunna Teikdi Main Stadium, tonight.
About 1,800 paralympians from ten countries gave their best efforts in the events held at the Wunna Teikdi Sports Complex, here.
The events started off with entertainment performed by children with disabilities and was followed by Myanmar's traditional dance.
Thousands of spectators were then entertained with traditional orchestra performances by school and university students who moved around the stadium on a colourful and unique floats.
This was followed by the procession of the ten competing contingents in alphabetical order, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and host nation, Myanmar were the last to enter the stadium.....
