Kudos must be given to V Shem-Khim Wah who exhibited a consistent performance by blowing away their opponents from Indonesia, Angga Pratama/Ryan Agung Saputra in the semi-final match at Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil here Saturday.
In the highly dramatic match today, V Shem-Khim Wah received an early setback after losing in the first set 23-25, but rose to score the winning point in the second set with 21-13.
The support of the local spectators boosted the determination of V Shem-Khim Wah to continue to play aggressively in the deciding set by thwarting Angga-Ryan's chances, 22-20 in one hour, 12 minutes.
"We are definitely satisfied because it is the first time we made it to the final. The matches today were very hard-fought, the spectators also boosted our spirit.....
