KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 16 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian highway cycling squad are still capable of giving others a run for their money in the 2014 Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) despite losing several national key riders to continental teams.
Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF) deputy president Datuk Naim Mohamad believes the remaining batch of national cyclists were equally capable of taking up Malaysia's challenge in the LTdL.
"We still have Muhammad Fauzan Ahmad Lufti and several other riders. The coach (Aminuddin Sulaiman) will be shortlisting the potential racers to represent Malaysia in LTdL.
"After undergoing certain screening, the Selection Committee will decide the line-up," he said after announcing the line-up for the OCBC Cycle Malaysia 2014 race here Thursday.
Among the riders participating in the race this Saturday (Jan 18) at Dataran Merdeka are Anuar Manan, Mohd Shahrul Mat Amin and Muhammad Khairul Azizi Abdullah.....
