LANGKAWI, Jan 16 (Bernama) -- Hong Kong yacht, Jelik has climbed to the second position in the overall standing after winning the sixth round in the 'Round Island Challenge' on the third day of the Royal Langkawi Island Regatta (RLIR) 2014 here Thursday.
Nonetheless, 'Oi' of Australia helmed by Peter Ahern maintained its top position in the Racing category despite taking second place in the sixth round.
After today's races, Oi! collected seven penalty points, followed by Jelik in second place with 13 penalty points while Uranus are occupying third spot in the overall standing.
Despite sharing 13 penalty points with Jelik, Uranus representing the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) failed to clinch second place as the team did not win any races in the sixth round whereas Jelik took the fifth and sixth (races).
Both Uranus and Utarid representing RMN are now trailing far behind Oi! who have been consistent in their performance since the first day of RLIR.....
