KUANTAN, Jan 15 (Bernama) -- Pahang Football Association (PFA) are using 50 scanning machines to detect fake tickets for the Sultan Ahmad Shah Cup (Charity Cup) match to curb counterfeit tickets at Darul Makmur Stadium starting this Friday.
PFA match management committee chairman Raja Mustafa Shah Raja Jalil Shah said even though they did not expect to find many fake tickets, it was a measure to ensure each ticket for Malaysian League matches was genuine.
"Although only 20 counterfeits were detected last season, PFA's president has requested the scanning machines be deployed," he told reporters here Wednesday.
Tickets for the Charity Cup match between Malaysia Cup champions Pahang and Super League champions, Lion XII will go on sale at 10am tomorrow at Darul Makmur Stadium and Temerloh Mini Stadium.
"Fans are advised to turn up early at the stadium as the ticket scanning process may take a slightly longer time," Raja Mustafa said.....
