KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 14 (Bernama) -- World number one Datuk Lee Chong Wei is determined to bounce back on home turf this week after failing to retain the South Korea Open Super Series over the weekend.

Chong Wei, the defending Korean Open champion, lost to his arch rival and nemesis Chen Long of China in the final on Sunday but quickly acknowledged that he had lost to the better player of the day.

The Maybank Malaysia Open kicks off tomorrow with the 31-year-old Penang lad opening his campaign against Denmark's Hans-Kristian Vittinghus at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil.

"I want to focus on winning the Malaysian Open and not focus on who I will be meeting in the final, including Chen Long. I will focus my attention at every stage," he told reporters after a training session here, Tuesday.

Chong Wei who has won the Malaysian Open a record nine times, back in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, would be out to set another record by winning it for the 10th time.....
