PETALING JAYA, Jan 10 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) athlete Muhammad Ezuan Nasir Khan stole the show on the second day of the Selangor Open Shooting Championship 2014 today by breaking the national record in the 50m Rifle Prone men's individual event at the Subang national shooting range.

He scored 206.2 points to erase the 204.5 points record set by elite national athlete Hisyam Adzha from Perak, during the Tun Hanif shooting championship in June at the same venue.

The achievement increased his collection of gold medals to three; two of the medals were from his wins in the 10m Air Rifle individual and team events yesterday.

The MAF team dominated the competition today with a haul of five gold medals including Muhammad Ezuan's contributions.

Elite national female athlete Nur Suryani Mohamed Taibi was the MAF's best contender today after winning two gold for her team.....
