PETALING JAYA, Jan 9 (Bernama) -- Armed Forces (ATM) dominated the first day action at the Selangor Open Shooting Championships by shooting down swept five of the six gold medals at stake at the National Shooting Range in Subang, here today.
Muhammad Ezuan Nasir Khan and Muslifah Zulkifli were the toast of the team after winning two gold medals each through the men's 10m Air Rifle (Individual and team) and women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions (Individual and team), respectively.
After gunning down 207.8 points to win the individual event, Muhammad Ezuan later partnered Zulkifli Abu Bakar and Badrun Hisam Abd to shoot down 1,730 points.
Muslifah, an elite national women shooter took the 50m Rifle 3 Positions gold with 581 points before combining with Suryani Mohamed Taibi and Haslisa Hamed to collect 1,724 points for the team gold.
Armed Forces' fifth gold came from the men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol team event through Mohamad Ridhuan Mohamed, Khalel Abdullah and Azril Mohd Amin who collected 1,604 points.....
