KOTA BAHARU, Jan 5 (Bernama) -- After defeats to several clubs during a series of friendly matches last month, Kelantan will not take things lightly when they face Premier League outfit Perlis in a friendly match tomorrow at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here.
Kelantan head coach Steve Darby said the game will be the benchmark for the team as it prepares for the M-League season this year.
"(Match with) Perlis is very important for us. (But) don't get demoralised by the earlier results. It is important to get the players playing together and we will have a bit more time together again.
"Now we play with one of the strongest team. We are not playing with the kids anymore," he told Bernama when met here today.
Darby who took charge of Kelantan since November last year after the departure of coach Bojan Hodak, knows the challenges he and team would face after a group of senior players left the team for greener pastures.....
