NAYPYITAW, Dec 21 (Bernama) -- The national contingent ends its stint at the 27th SEA Games by collecting 43 gold medals, surpassing the target of 40 gold.
This was possible with the collection of another five gold today, two each from the diving and Muay Thai event and one through the men's hockey squad in Yangon.
The contingent's first win for today's gold was through Mohd Lokman Hakimi Mat Raji, who gave Malaysia its 39th gold in the 51kg Muay Thai event.
The diving pair of Ooi Tze Liang/Muhammad Nazreen Abdullah, who led in the men's 10m synchronised platform event, gave Malaysia its 40th gold.
The national's men hockey squad gave Malaysia its fourth gold for today when they defeated Singapore 5-0 in the final match.....
