KOTA KINABALU, Feb 26 (Bernama) -- Inanam Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Youth continues to intensify efforts to strengthen the party machinery at all branches in the area to recapture the Inanam state seat from the opposition in the coming 14th general election (GE14).
Inanam PBS Youth chief, Albert Jumitih said to ensure the continuance of efforts to strengthen the party, 50 PBS youth branches in the area would ensure that they remained active with various programs being organised.
"I believe with hard work we can be confident of wresting back the Inanam state seat. Inanam PBS Youth pledge to remain united and support any Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate contesting in Inanam in GE14," he said at a fun-filled relaxing event with Inanam PBS Youth, here yesterday.
Also present at the ceremony were Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan, PBS Inanam Division chief Fredolin Totin Bangon and acting PBS Youth chief Christopher Mandut.
The Inanam state seat which was previously a BN stronghold, went to the opposition in the last general election when Dr Roland Chia from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) won the seat with a 3,202-vote majority
At the event, Abdul Rahman also contributed RM10,000 to Inanam PBS Youth.
