JOHOR BAHRU, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- Johor Barisan Nasional (BN) will ensure that potential candidates to be fielded in the 14th General Election (GE14) will not only win seats but also resolve issues pertaining to the problems of the people.
Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, who is also Johor BN chairman, said the approach was different from the opposition who only wanted to win seas and harp on national issues.
"We realise that the cost of living is rising and this problem is not only experienced in our country but also in other countries.
"Hence the government continues to carry out intervention approach to resolve problems when tackling issues faced by the people, among them to introduce the Johor Era programme so that the people can generate more income and have subsidised bus fares and free education," he said.
He told reporters this after attending the Excellence Awards presentation and Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Scientex PTA annual meeting in Pasir Gudang, here today.....
