KOTA BHARU, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi held a closed-door meeting with about 1,000 Kelantan Barisan Nasional (BN) workers here at a hotel here today.
Ahmad Zahid, who is BN deputy chairman, arrived at 1.40 pm and was welcomed by Kelantan BN chairman Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, his deputy Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub and other BN leaders in Kelantan.
The meeting, among others, is believed to discuss the "BN Get Out The Vote" (GOTV) programme for the 14th general election.
A similar meeting had been held in Johor and Melaka.
After the meeting, Ahmad Zahid left to Tendong in Pasir Mas, to attend the 'Sepetang Bersama Rakyat' programme at Dataran Lembaga Kemajuan Pertanian Kemubu (KADA), scheduled at 3.30pm today.
