MUAR, Feb 9 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said today he wondered how the 'parti bunga' (flower party), in an apparent reference to Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, would be able to govern the country when it could not even administer itself.
The Prime Minister said the party tried to emulate the UMNO constitution which provided for branch, divisional and central elections but failed to administer well resulting in dissatisfaction among members.
"How do they want to govern the country if they cannot even administer the party well? Let's not even talk about transformation and stability (of the country), which is uncertain under an opposition administration.
"If there is no stability in the country, how are we going to implement the High-Speed Rail project for the people? Even street lights cannot be installed," he said at a meet-the-people session and the launch of a village street lighting programme for Johor at Bukit Mor here.
At a press conference after the event, Najib said the flower party should not blame the Registrar of Societies (RoS) for all the problems it faced.
"RoS had cleared DAP before this," he said, adding that the flower party had not adhered to its constitution.
