KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 (Bernama) -- MCA is optimistic that more Chinese support is flowing back to Barisan Nasional (BN) and that it is now strongly poised to win more Parliamentary seats in the upcoming General Election 14 (GE14).
MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said regular surveys and feedbacks that the party had received from the ground showed that the votes from across the board were coming back to the party.
"MCA is working hard and we have a strong team, while the opposition is divided with no vision. We are ready to wrestle the seats that we lost in the last election," he said at a news conference after the 64th MCA Annual General Meeting at Wisma MCA, here today.
He added that in preparation for the GE14, MCA would not leave out any segment of the electorate, and it was engaging in multiple strategies to reach out for their support, especially the youth, which would make up the majority of the voters' demography in GE14.
"We have a mechanism on reaching out to them. We have educational institutions for the young to engage them in nation building," he said.....
