Sabah Polls: Former CM Salleh Fails To Retain Usukan Seat

KOTA KINABALU, Nov 29 (Bernama) -- Former Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak has lost the Usukan seat in the 17th Sabah State Election.

The former Communications and Multimedia Minister was unable to retain the seat he won in the previous state polls, losing to Warisan’s Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis @ Fakharudy.

According to the Election Commission (EC), Isnaraissah Munirah, who is also Kota Belud MP, secured 6,292 votes to wrest the seat from Salleh.

In the six-cornered contest, she won with a 442-vote majority.
