IPOH, Dec 2 -- The Perak State Secretary Datuk Zainal Azman Abu Seman confirms that he had been transferred to the Public Service Department (PSD), Putrajaya from yesterday.
When contacted by Bernama, he said he received a letter ordering him to go on transfer to the PSD on Friday.
‘’The content of the letter is true. I will begin my duty following what is directed in the letter,’’ he said without stating in detail on the reason for the transfer.
Zainal Azman had held the post of Perak State Secretary since Oct 18 last year to replace Datuk Mohd Ghazali Jalal who retired.
Prior to this, he had been appointed National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) (Operations Implementation Sector) deputy director-general and had served in the public service for 28 years.
On Nov 10, the Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah conferred the Darjah Dato' Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (DPCM) which carries the title ‘Datuk’ on Zainal Azman in conjunction with his 63rd birthday at Istana Iskandariah, Kuala Kangsar.
