PETALING JAYA, Nov 1 -- Indonesia’s audio system producer Venom Audio aims to increase the number of dealers in Malaysia.
Venom Global Enterprise Malaysia managing director Thomas Yong said the Malaysian market offers bright opportunities following good response from consumers.
"Even though sales in the Malaysian market was not so encouraging initially, but with 25 legitimate dealers in Malaysia, Venom Audio has got its place among the fans of audio systems and car accessories," he said.
Yong was speaking in conjunction with the fifth meeting with Venom Fighter Community comprising Venom Audio product users from Singapore, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Indonesia in Subang near here today.
He said Venom Audio now has seven exclusive distributors in Asia, including in Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Malaysia.
Well known for the 'DSP Plug & Play' speaker products, Venom Audio has also introduced its latest product from Bewith Japan and a Micro-Precision Audio from Germany.
The three-day programme comprised the sharing of knowledge programme on car audio systems and 'Venom Tuning Competition'.
The founder of Micro-Precision Audio (Germany), Thomas Hoffman and managing director of Bewith Enterprise (Japan) Toshi Nakashima were also present.
Venom Audio chief executive officer Irwan Kusuma said Malaysia was chosen as the host for the meeting this time around to promote the car audio system brand that has been in the Malaysian market since 2017.
"We hope Malaysia can dominate the audio system market like Indonesia as the audio system trend is the similar for both countries, in addition to sharing knowledge and raising awareness on the right audio system installation among consumers,” he said.
