FR Qaseh aims to venture into overseas market next year

TUMPAT, Oct 13 -- FR Qaseh Sdn Bhd, which produces pre-mix coffee under the Manja Kaseh and Arjuna Kaseh brands, targets to begin marketing its products overseas next year.
Managing director Faizul Rohban said the company currently sold about 3,000 500-gramme bottles each month and planned to increase the figure to 10,000 bottles monthly in 2020.
“Potential markets that we are looking at include the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and Brunei,” he told Bernama.
FR Qaseh, which began operations in 2013, has a factory in Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan.
On Sept 26, it received the “Consumer - Pre-mix Coffee” award at the World Halal Bestbrands Awards organised by The BrandLaureate in Kuala Lumpur.
Faizul said he was elated that the company received the honour despite having been in operation only for a few years.
"I feel proud that although the company has been operating for less than a decade, it has continued to grow and was presented with the award by an international party,” he said at his office in Pasir Pekan, near here, today.
Faizul said that while he wanted to market his products overseas, he felt it was better to strengthen the company's position in the domestic market first.
“After we have become a champion in the home market, then we can make the next step,” he said.
