KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 (Bernama) -- IJM Land’s Hari Raya Open House series celebrated in five locations brought together communities and residents from various races, embracing the country’s diversity and celebrating its cultures.

The series began in Penang at Permatang Sanctuary, followed by a fun-filled double celebration of Hari Raya and Father’s Day at Riana Dutamas in Kuala Lumpur, Alam Suria Enclave in Shah Alam, Seremban 2, and final leg, Bandar Rimbayu’s Raya Legendary.

A total of 6,300 guests came together as families, friends and communities in an atmosphere of merriment at these open houses, according to a statement.

Also present were ERA and Zayan’s hosts, Ayda Jebat, Hael Husaini and a live performance by Misha Omar.

“At IJM Land, we believe everyone is family...and through all these open houses, we are celebrating with our families. This is not just during Hari Raya but all key festivals in Malaysia where we are present,” said IJM Land managing director, Edward Chong.

“Our next celebrations will be the Mid-Autumn Festival and Deepavali, and do look out for our open house invitations through our Facebook page,” he added.

During the open houses, guests enjoyed Hari Raya staples including lemang, ketupat, rendang, kuih-muih and satay. On top of festive delicacies, each venue featured different activities for guests including cultural and art performances.

IJM Land’s ‘Celebrating Our Festival’ series began in 2014, with the objective of embracing Malaysia’s diversity.
