KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 (Bernama) -- Integrated engineering solutions provider, Kelington Group Bhd has clinched several new orders totalling RM53 million, bringing the group’s total value of new orders secured to RM146 million in the first quarter ended Dec 31, 2019.
In a statement, it said these new contract wins were largely for specialised engineering works under the ultra high purity (UHP) segments for wafer fabrication in China.
Chief executive officer Raymond Gan said Kelington's UHP business remained robust and continued to be the group’s anchor growth driver.
“Our growing presence in China and Singapore has been instrumental in driving growth for the group, with the two markets accounting for approximately 71 per cent of our outstanding order book with project orders mainly from the UHP division.
“Moving forward, we expect the growth in our order book to be driven by project orders under the UHP and process engineering business as we continue to receive invitations to tenders from major industry players across our key operating markets - Malaysia, Singapore, China and Taiwan,” he added.
