CIMB´s Customer Focus and Marketing Excellence Recognised at Inaugural Malaysian CMO Awards 2018

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 18 (Bernama) -- CIMB Bank Berhad (“the Bank” or “CIMB”) has won a total of three awards – for Best Marketer in Customer Experience Marketing, Data & Tech, and Retail & Promotions Marketing – at the inaugural Malaysian Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Awards 2018 recently. Organised by The Marketing Magazine, a total of 30 awards were at stake to recognise the efforts and contributions of members in Malaysia’s marketing communications industry who have raised the bar on customer engagement that is impactful for both customers and companies. The awards were presented at the seventh annual Malaysian CMO conference, which was graced by His Hon. Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Communications and Multimedia of Malaysia.

Among all financial institutions nominated, CIMB Bank received the most number of awards based on a rigorous criteria comprising of, among others, business results, case study results and other awards received for specific marketing initiatives.
